Nuclear

I spent quite a bit of time in college studying about the nuclear age and the like, I felt as if I should post about the new exhibit at the Corcoran. The exhibition is called Critical Assembly. This exhibit focuses on the Manhattan Project and has actual items used by the scientist at Los Alamos. While the installations mimic actual nuclear bombs, the artist very purposefully stayed away from a true-to-life representation of a nuclear bomb. The exhibition studies how something that can be seen as beautiful can be so very desctructive. The exhibit was previewed by the Post. The exhibit will run till Jan 26, 2004 and the cost of admission is $5.
