aim.gifI don't get the point of people who are on AIM, but constantly have an away message up. I know that Dead AIM is there to allow us to message people with the away message, but that's really annoying. Have you ever done that? Every time you send a message, you get their away message again. If you have that option, don't do that. Why do people use that option? Well, it's so you can go online and see who is there, but not talk to anyone, or a specific someone you don't want to talk to. Well, my answer to that is get another screen name. Common, all of us have at least two, the public name, then the lurking-on-the-internet-like-a-spy/stalker name and if you don't, get one. Lord knows I have enough names, or at least access to enough names. In this day and age, you have to have several names. One for work, one for home, one for the people you actually want to talk to, one for spying,, one you give away on friendster, one for your mobile(phone or pda or computer), the list goes on and on.
What also gets me is people who make IM dates. Who does that? I mean I can understand if you're in a different continent, but really, who is on the phone with someone and says, hey, let's stop this conversation and get on IM? Or says, hey, I'll talk to you on IM on Thursday at about 3:30pm? Get a life.

Work is draging on and on. If all things work out, January should be a very, very busy month. I really hope that all things work out. I pray, you should pray/give offerings/make sacrafices for me. Before I left for Houston, I wrote the letter for Poindexter. Have to figure out when to send it. Send it now and get the expected response, or wait and see if he surprises me? Hmmmm, what a to-do.

Damian Lewis is a very hot man, if you haven't seen Band of Brothers yet, you must. There are not one, but two copies of the boxed DVD set in my house, and one in the house that I lived in before. If that's not a testament to how good BoB is, then you need to be less snobby.
